Kate Chaney for Representative
Katherine Ella Chaney is an Australian politician and member of the Australian House of Representatives, representing the division of Curtin. She was elected in the 2022 Australian federal election as an independent candidate. Chaney has a family background in politics, with her grandfather, Fred Chaney Sr., having served as a member of the House of Representatives and her uncle, Fred Chaney, having served as a senator and minister in the Australian government.
Chaney attended John XXIII College and the University of Western Australia, and has worked in various roles in the private and public sectors, including as a lawyer, strategic advisor, and sustainability manager. She has also worked as the director of innovation and strategy for Anglicare WA.
